Key Information:
Short Term Contracts
Available for the period that any vessel is under your control/surveillance, whilst passing through client nominated risk zones (Typically a 14/21 day voyage)
Position Reports
The vessel’s current position and historical track are displayed on secure electronic maritime charts. Each position report contains data on Longitude, Latitude, Course, Speed and Sea Conditions.
Reporting Periods
Reporting periods can be set between 24 up to 96 per 24 hour period depending on your operational requirements.
Security Zone
Zones such as IRTC and War Risk zones can be established in addition to any specific in-house requirements.
Vessel Alerts
Automatic Alerts are created in conjunction with any Security Zones and can be established for when a vessel enters or leaves a zone. Alerts are sent to any registered e-Mail, SMS, Fax and Telex addresses.
Weather Reporting
Detailed animated 6 day weather available worldwide and for any specific location or region. Forecast includes display of isobars, wind information, significant wave height, wind and swell direction.
Management
PSC are “Inmarsat Partners” and are responsible for managing the programming and monitoring of the vessel’s reporting systems. Vessel positions reports are only accessible via Secure Access procedures. We provide full support and training in the use of the electronic maritime charts displays.
